The Fish Peddler At Pacific Oyster

We make it a priority to stop here every trip to the beach in a 1 hour radius just for the chowder, it’s that good! The crab and shrimp melt sandwich is a close runner up. The customer service is really good! Enjoy!!

I gave it a 2 because the fries were good. My brother had the fried oysters which were over cooked. I have the halibut fish and chips. This was hands down the worst frozen fish I have ever had! The coating on the fish was tasteless! Before leaving I saw in the frozen section the fish I had been served and it said gluten free so I am assuming that's the reason the coating had no taste but either way I won't be going back.

We appreciated the fish counter each of the offerings identified the town in Oregon where the fish had been caught. We got some of the rockfish to cook for dinner and were very pleased. The restaurant isn't fancy but looks good worth a try our next time.

We travelled from Brookings to Astoria to find the best chowder on the Oregon coast. We tried the fancy restaurants, food trucks, beach side shanty’s and anything else we could find. #1 hands down, the fish peddler in bay city!!!

We enjoyed this cool place right on the bay! It had been recommended to us and did not disappoint! Our group enjoyed the shrimp/crab melt, clam chowder, fish tacos, shrimp salad, etc... everything was so delicious, I would highly recommend for food, ambience and a cute store to shop around. A
