Much rather have my own crawfish, too hot, didn't come out of she'll well, not purged enough and very expensive for the time of year!

Awesome food! We had crawfish, potatoes and corn. Also po boy oyster sandwiches and they were great! Spices were on point!

The live crawfish were good quality crawfish for a decent price, however the shrimp were a disappointment. I was under the impression we were getting fresh shrimp since that's what I was told, well instead we got frozen shrimp and we paid $6.29lb for them. When I called to discuss the fresh shrimp and that I didn't want frozen, I was told that that's all they get and that Bayou La Batre didn't get fresh shrimp anymore they get frozen, which i believe to be untrue, because I grew up in the mobile area and get shrimp all the time from different people that are fresh not frozen for half the price and I would normally have done that but I was trying to keep my business local and support my community . I understand now that poor mans only gets frozen and that's fine but be honest upfront and when someone calls to discuss this matter just say that's how we get ours not that no one can unfrozen shrimp anymore.
