Fratelli Pizzeria - Bay Shore

I was very disappointed with this dish. We often visit Fratellis and are usually very satisfied, but their delivery options have let us down. It was especially frustrating when I was told that I must have ordered from the Uber Eats menu.

Nine months since we moved to East Islip, and we finally found Fratelli after a string of disappointments. You want your pizza's sauce to have actual personality perspective, even and this one does. I think this will be our pizza place.

There is no place with better Italian food . John has been there for over 40 years and there is a reason ! Much better than any high end restaurant. You owe it to yourself to atleast give it a try!!¡

I ordered two calzones: one with pepperoni and one with meatballs. Unfortunately, one of the calzones came with Italian sausage instead of meatballs, which I specifically wanted to avoid. However, even with that mix-up, the calzone was still really enjoyable. It was generously filled with a perfect blend of ricotta and mozzarella and had just the right amount of sausage. To put things in perspective, I had ordered from another pizzeria a few weeks ago, and their calzone was unappetizing both in appearance and taste. In contrast, this calzone was well-made. The pizza I ordered was also excellent, with a good balance of sauce and cheese, and it had a nice flavor. The dough was baked perfectly—not greasy or soggy at all. I found the prices to be competitive and worth the quality, especially since some places charge an extra $10 for the same size pie. I would definitely order from here again and recommend it as a fantastic pizzeria.
