The fries were only partially cooked, but the chili dog was quite good. For a takeout lunch, I would rate the food a 3 and the service a 5.

The price point is accessible, with meals costing between $1 and $10, which is great for budget-conscious diners. The food was decent, scoring a solid 3 out of 5. While it wasn’t anything extraordinary, it fulfilled my expectations for a casual meal. Service was also satisfactory, receiving a 3 out of 5; the staff was friendly but not particularly attentive. The atmosphere was quite ordinary as well, again settling at a 3 out of 5. It was a pleasant enough place to eat, but nothing stood out as remarkable. In summary, this restaurant offers a fair and budget-friendly option for a casual dining experience, but there are certainly areas that could use improvement.

The burgers we had were incredibly disappointing. While the fries were fresh and hot, the burgers were cold and hard. We've decided to stick with Sonic from now on. We hoped that trying a different location would yield better food and service, but sadly, we were mistaken. I wouldn't recommend Wards to anyone. This location was even worse than the one in Laurel. It desperately needs to be shut down or require new management that actually knows how to run a restaurant. The cleanliness was appalling; both the front and back areas were in disarray. The equipment, countertops, cash register, and soda machines were rusty, and the tables and chairs were sticky. The walls, windows, and even the temperature gauge on the wall were filthy. It makes me wonder if we are unwelcome here based on our appearance.
