Au Louis d'Or - Bayeux

Simple but effective, excellent crêpes without fuss. great for a fast, inexpensive lunch. and the fact that there was only one person serving the whole place makes it even more remarkable. exactly what you need for a lunch in the normandie.

Friendly crêperie in a great location, with the best galettes we had, absolutely scratched with filling. great value for money and we will definitely return when we are back in bayeux.

The restaurant has beautiful waiting staff, beautiful sitting facilities and is located both near the cathedrale and yet a bit away from large collections of tourists, at least at the time of our visit. the hearty galettes and the sweet crêpes are.excellent we had galette ausagere, cidre. (four manufacturers who choose) and crèpes as dessert.

We had lovely crepes for lunch with a bottle of cider. The atmosphere was good and the service prompt.

We went here for lunch. No problem finding seating but it did crowd up quite a bit during our stay. Their gallettes and crepes were very good. I had an apples, cheese and blood pudding gallette for lunch and an apples, sugar flambee crepe for...dessert. The apples were delicious. They also serve local ciders. Some of the menu was in English and the waitress didn't speak English either. It's all very reasonably priced as well.
