Bayou Produce And Seafood Market

I wake up a night still wishing that I was there eating the shrimp boil. While driving around up north where I live, I see signs for crab boil and seafood boils, I am overcome woth sadness knowing that they could never live up to Bayou Seafood Company's. I would move to Bayou La Batre just so that I could eat here.

Amazing food! The absolute best burger! I've not had anything from here that is not AMAZING! It's never mediocre, always the best! The line wrapped around the porch speaks for itself! The staff is always friendly and they work their behinds off! If you're here and there isn't a line, you're lucky!

The food was great. A little hot inside and you have to fight the flies. Inside or outside with the flies. But the food was great

We visited this place on our way to Florida, and being a fan of the movie forrest gump. I have to past by bayou la batre (unfortunately didn't see anything pertaining to forrest gump). We ended up visiting this place for lunch and the food was just awesome. It's fresh, and the fried food are fried to perfection. Crispy on the outside, and the inside was not dry. Would definitely recommend this place if your in the area.

Went last week for the first time after my son recommended it. Got there at opening time (11:00) and it was a good thing. By about 11:20 it was packed. It's a small place with a lot of working folks, law enforcement, and locals with the owner walking around to make sure everyone was happy. My kind of place. The cute young lady at the register was taking orders, communicating with the kitchen, delivering drinks to the table and working her butt off with a smile on her face every step of the way. However much her tip total was that day wasn't nearly enough. The food: I have never liked batter on shrimp. I have always preferred them seasoned, dusted and fried. The shrimp here have a good bit of batter, I don't know exactly what kind, but MERCY they were the best I've ever had. The sides we got were excellent as well and one in our group got fried catfish and they looked so good I wanted to ask for a bite but I restrained myself and didn't. She said it was delicious. I might have to try it next time because I will definitely be back. Bayou Seafood Company was the most pleasant surprise I've had in a long time.
