Feedback gevenImpressed by the website of the hotel and restaurant we decided to go there for dinner. The restaurant was totally empty so we chose an outdoor table. Our Wienerschnitzels were the worse we have ever had thin and dry. The service staff were indifferent and not friendly. Overall a very disappointing experience maybe because a World Cup game was on but that is no excuse.
(4/5) Like the hotel the restaurant thrives on its local roots, personal service (not perfect, but always charming), and dedication to guests. Food is hearty, portions generous, and in summer one can sit in a lovely alcove/bower outside. Inside heavy dark wood prevails. You don't leave hungry here and you will have enjoyed a good meal. Recommended
I think anyone would love this mini sausage mash dish with fried onions. i had the liver knodel soup because I like to try new things, and I had read about this franconian specialty... but It wasn't really my thing. An acquired taste.
Seit Jahrzehnten ist die Gaststube scheinbar unverändert, wenn auch sicher immer mal wieder frisch gemalt, doch kann man sich des Eindrucks einer leicht geriatrischen Ambiance nicht erwehren.Das Gebotene ist dabei von sehr guter Qualität, das Service nett und kompetent.Eine vor allem bei altgedienten Festspielgästen beliebte Bayreuther Institution.
Siamo andati a questo ristorante per pranzo ed è stato piacevole, abbiamo assaggiato vari piatti tipici tutti ottimi, l'ambiente è diviso in due sale una molto confortevole e un altra rinnovata, la prima molto carina la seconda, quella rinnovata, un po meno.
