Mambo Seafood - Baytown

I did a Call in order for regular size shrimp ceviche and the 12 grande shrimp ranchero. Overall, The shrimp ceviche had great flavor and excessively loaded with diced tomatoes. I wish I had more of it. The regular shrimp ceviche is portion is quite small and rather disappointing. The 12 grande shrimp were more like medium shrimp. The ranchero sauce had really good flavoring and yumo bell peppers and onions. I ended up drizzling it over my fried rice. The fried rice on its own had really good flavor.

Been here multiple times. The experience is usually pretty good. I prefer GRILLED over fried. They don't have any good grilled selections. Other than that. The food is always good... I like the seafood soups. The waitress was nice enough to offer me some tostadas when I declined crackers.Food: 4/5

Excellent food. The service is hit or miss. They get very busy at times. However, even when they're not busy, sometimes the service isn't very good, and sometimes it is.When it's busy, it's VERY loud and a typical, alcohol fueled atmosphere.My wife and I eat here regularly and don't have any real complaints. If you're looking for good seafood at decent prices, this is the place!

We just had dinner and although the red snapper we ordered didn't appear to look like a red snapper and was most fishy tasting to say the least. Our mambo shrimp, oysters and fried rice were on point. Overall our server Michah was beyond attentive and polite. Hope to see him again. We will definitely be back and give the red snapper another try again ?

The server was nice. Sky was attentive and did her best with keeping up. The fish wasn't fresh and we were told it was catfish but it wasn't. I don't we'd return because the food wasn't great.
