Stopped because it sounded better than the few places to choose from in that area. Yuck. Should of kept driving

Food is awesome! Serious down home cooking! The deli selection is amazing, just good food. Staff is very friendly and happy. It feels like an old school general store. You expect to see a couple of old timers playing checkers in a corner.

Yummy food! Great staff! Clean store! Fried chicken, pulled pork, wide variety of drinks, everything you need in this store!

Home cooking fast. Friendly smell of barbecue cold beer lucky lottery tickets good job.

Used to love this place. I would schedule my frequent drives from Pittsburgh, PA to Norfolk, VA so I could get lunch here. BUT ... my recent visit will likely be my last. Coffee urn yielded only 3-4 drops. Prepared food counter was out of fried chicken (main reason for my stopping. I decided to wait in line to order hard to find papusas. Three people that had entered the store after me went to front of the line saying (in Spanish we are Latinos so we can get in front of the white people . I am sure the counter staff heard them as they were much closer than I was and looked uncomfortable. Nothing was said by anyone other than me when i left the store without a purchase telling them that they really should manage things better- especially make the line at the deli more defined so people couldn 't jump in front. Good luck, Nick. There are many other fried chicken places and I know can get papusas in Norfolk and Kitty Hawk.
