Bear Diner

My kind is certainly not welcomed here. I decided to eat in and was alone. The waitress that served me seemed to not want to serve me and gave me fake half smiles. Yet I saw her chatting comfortably and laughing with the white patrons sitting at her counter. I also observed another server wait on black cops that came in and she must have stood about six feet away from their table to take their orders. Yet she also was chummy and cozy with the white patrons at the counter. Are we that scary to be near? All patrons should be treated the same and made to feel welcomed in any public atmosphere. This same woman checked me out and seemed to not want to touch my money or my hand. Needless to say, I won't be back. The food was just okay and the atmosphere could certainly use some updating.

Was driving through the area and saw the restaurant. We decided to stop. Good prices and fast service. The food was pretty good and the staff seemed very friendly. We will stop again when in the area

If I could give less then 1 star I would. The burgers were very underwhelming we did not eat but a small bite of it. The turkey club was okay, the cheese sticks were good, cheese fries good, fries were great. But the burgers, and the service left much to be desired. When we asked to have the burgers removed seeing as we would not eat them and we?re not taking them home; we were asked if we tried it. Twice. We asked for Sierra mist, and was given Pepsi. They forgot the lettuce for our burgers. Will never return here. Should have stuck with Route 40 diner as they never disappoint. The server (male) checked on us maybe twice. The female servers were all very nice and attentive to their customers. We were without silverware, straws, and a satisfactory meal. They took one burger off the bill; which should have been both. Neither burger was even bitten into. The burgers tasted as though they were bought frozen. Just a heads up.

Your typical all-American! Excellent service, staff and regular quantity are very friendly. The food is what is expected to love in every diner. Perfectly cooked, but nothing special.

Outside the amazing waiters it was no good experience at all. I have a basic breakfast egg side and a pancake. Nothing had any taste, so I tried to add some. 1 shaker flew like water, so that the eggs were now too salty. I paid, and the basic breakfast was $14! Never again.
