Panitz Country Bake - BEAUDESERT

This is the best bakery I have ever been to in my 40 years of life. They have the best tasting cakes and sausage rolls. For every birthday, I always get my cakes from this bakery. They also make delicious fresh sandwiches. I go here once a week.

It is suggested that they invest in better chairs and tables as the current ones look cheap. Offering free newspapers like other coffee shops do could be a nice touch. The staff are all friendly and the move to a larger space will ensure the success of the business in the future. We wish them well in their new venture and will definitely be returning.

We make a point to stop at Beaudesert at least three times a year on our way to the Gold Coast for a two-week holiday and again on our way to Stanthorpe. Panitz Land Bake is exactly as its name suggests - they bake everything that they sell in the store, ensuring freshness. In addition to baked goods, they also offer coffee and tea and have seating available inside the store. We typically purchase a loaf of crusty white bread and then head over to Heit's Quality Meats to buy their delicious homemade ham. The price per kilo is $17.95 and it is absolutely scrumptious! I'm certain that the bakery uses real butter, making their ham sandwiches even more enjoyable for a picnic in the park across the street. This bakery is a staple in the rural community and has been in business for quite some time, which is a testament to their quality. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed.
