Feedback gevenStopped for lunch with my wife. I had the poboy she had the shrimp basket. Both were excellent. Service was great, location very clean. I look forward to returning and catching some live music.
We were so glad to have found this hidden gem during our first visit to Beaufort. I had the fish and grits with a side of fried okra and my wife had a fish sandwich. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was delightful.
This place was incredible. Best soul food you?ll find on the SC coast. Our family stopped in for Sunday lunch. Portions were gracious plenty. Everything was fresh and made to order. (Details below. The staff made feel us feel at home and the the food tasted like the best of home cooking ? made with a combination of love and culinary genius. Treat yourself to the best restaurant in Beaufort and get over there now. Here?s what we had: The ribs were fall-off-the-bone-lick-your-finger-and-don?t-care-whose-watching good and the fried chicken was somehow perfectly crispy on the outside but juicy-like-grandma?s on the inside. We had the yellow rice, mac-and-cheese, lima beans cooked with ham bone, collards cooked with ham, potato salad, and cornbread and they were all spot on, hearty, simply delicious. Nothing tasted like standard restaurant fare (y?all know what I mean . Sandie doesn?t cut any corners. We couldn?t have found a better spot. The next time we?re in Beaufort, we will be at Sandie?s.
I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Food was absolutely DEEEE-LISH, the atmosphere was welcoming and so peaceful, and the employees were knowledgeable of the area and funny. The area needs more of this. Can't wait to visit again. You will not be disappointed.
The food was excellent. Collin Eddy home town proud.
