Great restaurant and great service. Arrived here on a busy evening, personnel warned us that there couod be sole delays but food was great and we had a great evening in a fantastic atmosphere and setting.

Service on the night we were here was fine it was the very mixed quality of the cooking that was very disappointing. Main ingredient e.g beef or lamb was well cooked but the vegetables were almost cold and overcooked. Starter of duck carpaccio was tasteless perhaps the chef had run out of seasoning ? As there are plenty of decent restaurants in the area this is one to miss.

Slightly characterless decor and part of a wine co operative but food was good. Pricing for set menu reasonable. Ile Flottante delicious

We spent over two hours at this restaurant after ordering the menu, a three course meal. We ordered red wine without a wine list, so we never knew what kind of wine we were served. The main course arrived luke warm. We never got to the dessert because it was very late and other tables before us were not cleared. We knew it would be another half hour before our order for dessert was taken. There was only one server for about 35 people. One other assistant brought dishes to the tables. My husband spoke to the chef about the service before paying the full amount of the bill. He was berated by the chef who claimed he spent 15 hours a day in the kitchen, thus how could we complain! Although the food we had was tasty, don 't go there unless you are willing to spend about three hours from start to finish, and, oh, by the way, don 't complain.

Had a 3 hour lunch here today. Delicious food, smiling friendly service by the boss, wonderful introduction to local wines Thanks so much. We'll be back
