Black Bear Diner Beaumont

The food at this restaurant is superb. My husband got the meatloaf, while I opted for the pot roast, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The portion sizes are quite generous, even in the smaller category. We also sampled their triple berry citrus spritzer, which is the ideal beverage for a summer day. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly as well. We will definitely make a point to stop by again when we're in the area.

We absolutely love this place! We used to be loyal Crackle Barrel customers, but discovering Black Bear Diner has been a delightful surprise. This was our second visit, and the food is incredible and offers excellent value for the price. The staff is friendly, and both times we've gone, we’ve been seated right away. I ordered the Scrambowl, and it was delicious. I can't wait to return!

One thing is for sure, you won't leave hungry. Portion sizes: Huge Service: Friendly/Excellent Food: DELICIOUS Regardless of Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner you can't go wrong here. I only wish there were many more to park a truck at.

The air conditioning wasn't effective at keeping the restaurant cool. The food lacked flavor and needed seasoning; the hashbrowns had a metallic taste. The eggs over easy were undercooked. Although the fruit cup was fresh, the cantaloupe and melon had no taste. This was our first and last visit, as there are too many better-flavored dining options nearby.

Discovered this restaurant at it's grand opening. Have since tried 2 locations In N. Houston. The difference has to be the quality of management and caring employees,because Beaumont location is hands down better. Highly recommend if passing through. Great food and desserts. Had the chicken fried steak breakfast. All great. Enjoy
