Our first time here and it was Sunday lunch, tables are filled quickly. We ordered taco potato as an appetizer, enchiladas and fried fish with Zilantro rice. The food came fast and taste is delicious. The service is also beautiful. We come back to try different foods on their menu.
First timer here. When we arrived there, we were greeted by the host as well as a waiter who passed by (if he were a manager). We arrived at noon and half of the tables were occupied, and when we had set ourselves and ordered more people came and filled the tables. We got some chips and salsa before we started ordering. The salsa was perfect, maybe needed a little more Zilantro for my taste buds. We got more salsa than any other restaurant, so we didn't have to ask. The waitress came and took our drink order when we looked over the menu. We all decided on Tacos except my son who ordered the Coconut Shrine. My husband and I ordered the fish Taco, my parents ordered the street Tacos (Bef) and my other son ordered the taco of a child. The food came pretty fast. Everything was great. My fish Taco was good, I asked about flour instead of corn tortillas, but as soon as it came to us, the waitress noticed the mistake, but we told her it's okay, we'll eat anyway, but she still brought us extra flour tortillas. I had better, but it was still good. My parents liked their beef taco, but also said they had better, but still good enough to come back. My son loved his coconut shrimp and said it was a repetition for the next time. Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Next time I want to try other things on their menu. For a party of six, it was about $60 that's not bad at all.
Had the enchiladas, they were great. My wife had fajitas for one. There were tender and tasted very good. Giant glasses of tea also.
This is the best Mexican food in Beaumont. But it's not the fancy bar atmosphere like LA CANTINA. This is just great food, drink, and prices. It really has it all as far as what you what in a Mexican restaurant. Good flavor on an the food. Rice and beans cooked to perfection. Their habenaro salsa, not for the faint of heart, is so good to add to your meal. It'll make your nose run though and you'll probably be too full to chase it! Haha the Micheladas are the best in in area as well.
