Vautrot's Cajun Cuisine - Beaumont

The absolutely best Étouffée and rubber bears in Texas! I've been here for over twenty years and it's still unmatched. Living in Europe is a must on my restaurant list when I visit.

I heard about this restaurant from a local, and I have to say, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing! The portion sizes were generous and the prices very reasonable. The onion rings we had as appetizers were just a tease for what was to come. I ordered plenty to enjoy at the restaurant and even took half home. The frog legs were the best and largest I've ever had, and I've been around for almost 70 years! When I was a kid, I used to run around with my dad and uncle, and I can confidently say they were nothing like these.

This is likely the best bread pudding I've ever tasted. The food overall was fantastic. It wasn't noisy like many places these days. The service was outstanding.

This place is an old staple of great food, service, and friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed talking to Ms. Martha during this visit. Our waitress did and Outstanding job of serving our party of twelve. I strayed from my usual of etouffee' to try the chicken fried steak with milk gravy and I was not disappointed! The Black Forest Cherry chocolate cake is a great topper, too!

Food is ok, I would recommend the club sandwich and the gumbo or the chicken strips with a must of sweet potato fries, and it looks really nice inside and out.
