Utterly charming restaurant with great eating and wonderful warm personal service, try hard to speak English. we had lunch here on a rainy East Sunday. the menu is not listed as it is a “surprise”. we were asked if we had any food allergies or hatching (cilantro) and the kitchen was concerned about it. our six cure menu was more and sparingly hard as it is the season for both. started with a light suppe by spargel and morels. then two wonderful fish courses, then lamme served with perfectly boiled risotto. the cheese course was kreatiw (like all foods) a disc aged goat cheese was with candied walnuts and a slice of pickled birne that perfectly stopped it. dessert was a symphony of the chocolate. the portions were not overwhelmingly large, but much for large edibles. the food was served in a pleasant tempo. the price was quite reasonable given the raffinesse, the number of courses and the quality of food. the garden looked for good weather. highly recommended.
We ate here with friends last year and I then wrote an enthusiastic critique and I will do this again! this time we both had the pleasure of chatting with vincent and his beautiful woman anne. Its foods are exceptional and we are happy to hear that it could be gast cook in a large restaurant in auckland (paris butter) if we will be there at the beginning of 2019. we will certainly take friends with you to taste its remarkable kochtalente. the No-Choice, tasting menu at etincelles is a sheer joy. the Michelin star and worth more.
I came with my wife as a holiday contract my first time into a michelin star restaurant, and we were not disappointed. I was able to measure the reservation on facebook, which was helpful as my phone is French terrible and I wanted to ask a few first (danke google translate.) we arrived for Sunday dinner and welcomed the hostess and showed our prepared table on the beautiful terrace. there is no selection of menu, only a “surprise” depending on what the cook decides, but its website says rough what to expect. the cursor after the cursor had come again and again, all taste fantastic and wonderfully presented and even explained us (in English) from the cook itself. the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed, and the price was very reasonable for what we received in england, I would have expected to pay double. the only problem was that eating was so nice that a Pesky mosquito tried to taste some of me, but these things happen. we'd find ourselves next time.
We had an absolutely wonderful meal here with our 8 month old. The restaurant could not have been more welcoming of a baby everything was catered for and she was made a real fuss of! Dinner was served in the tranquil gardens and everything...from the excellent wine recommendation to the beautifully balanced and flavoured courses was a real pleasure. Herbs fresh from the garden, local produce and inventive combinations made for a truly memorable meal. Thank you so much. You definitely earned your Michelin star!
