This restaurant is a popular stop for drivers traveling between Jaipur and Jodhpur. They offer inexpensive tea and coffee, as well as a gift shop where you can purchase snacks. However, the restroom has a strong odor. The outdoor seating area is nice, but aside from the convenient location, there isn't much else to recommend about this place.
Our driver stopped us at this place as this seemed to be the most convenient place to stop considering our car itinerary. The room is not very clean, the waiter was less then friendly and when we looked at the menu and saw the prices for this type of place we understood that this was a tourist trap conveniently located by the road. The food was just acceptable but was one of the worst we had since we arrived in India 2 weeks ago. Not recommended as far as I am concerned.
A waste of time coming here for lunch. The place was dirty, shabby and a mouse was running under our table. That was enough for all of us. Did not feel like eating our food at all. Have had lots of enjoyable lunches at other clean Laxmi's road stops, but this management should have a wake up call if they want travellers to return. After a long drive we were anxious to have a nice meal, and a clean bathroom, shame this did not happen. Our tour guide was not happy with this at all and he apologised. Lucky we had our water and biscuits until our next stop. Could not understand why the place was like this as we counted at least 8 staff just standing around doing nothing.
This restaurant is excellent for families and special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. The service is good and the cafeteria is better than most.
