Becket General Store

Food is good and prices and about right for the area. Cheaper and better quality than Papa Bob's.. They also don't alienate thier regulars... Way more honest and better at running a business than down the street. Never had ghost items mysteriously on the bill. Like down the street.. As a plus a pot shop and liquor store all in same building... : Ambiance is rustic :

Dinner tonight with my wife. Prime rib was the special that we both ordered. Good call on our part! Perfectly cooked, nice sized portion and great smashed mashed taters. Couldn't be happier with the meal but the chef and our server helped make it a great time. Go there!

The food and service was amazing. Honestly I haven't had this good of a burger in such a long time. The fries and onion rings are amazing as well as their brownie sundae! This is a definite place to visit especially if you just came from Becket Quarry!!!

This review is all about Sara, our server. She's welcoming, pleasant, knows what she's doing and makes us want to come back for more. Thanks for an enjoyable time. As for the owner, a smile is better than a scowl. It's noticeable. We'll be back.

The food quality is not good here. We have given this place 3 tries and not returning again. It's too bad as it is a great location in town. But the food is just not pleasant whatsoever.
