Sweet Frog - Beckley

Went on 10-20-22 at 8:55 at night, I was there with two other friends, and as we were walking up to the door there was two customers sitting at the table, and one young female worker, we went to open the door and she turned off the ?open? sign? So we open the door and ask ?are you closed?? And she says ?yep?. Which I thought was weird since there was customers inside. Must have been special treatment for her friends. So then I go and look up when Sweet Frog ACTUALLY closes and it says 10. So I?m wondering why she so RUDELY turned customers away that go very regularly to this establishment? When there was already customers inside? But then decided to take it upon herself to refuse us service. I also thought Sweet Frog was a ?Christian? establishment, and that didn?t seem very Christian to me. You all really need to look into this, she is blatantly rude, and is obviously making this company lose money.

The restaurant has changed a bit from what it used to be, but I really appreciate the flat rate for the cups instead of charging by weight. The staff adds the toppings for you, but they tend to be generous with each one! If you prefer smaller portions, make sure to ask for less. Overall, it's delicious!

The fruit flavors were incredibly fresh and tasted authentic. I chose peach, strawberry, banana, and blackberry, and finished off with chocolate, all topped with granola and coconut flakes. It was delicious, and the quick service was a definite plus!

The frozen yogurt here is quite tasty, but it comes at a premium price. Even the smallest cup is pretty big, and both of my kids ended up wasting a lot of their yogurt. Next time, I might try filling one cup to share between the two of them once we’re seated. Additionally, the staff was a bit stingy with the toppings. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for frozen yogurt enthusiasts.

Then there's the coin machine: obtaining coins can be frustrating because they take a while to reach the edge and require quite a few quarters. Also, the special coins often get pushed to the back, and sometimes your quarters can get stuck. On top of that, it seems a bit unfair—my aunt has won two prizes, a 1906 Indian head penny and a 1956 wheat penny, while I haven’t won anything. Despite these two issues, I still highly recommend this ice cream shop!
