Tasty Tucks Fish - Bedford

The fish and chips at Tasty Tucks were fantastic. The portion of chips was generous and the fish was huge, just as expected. Even my husband was impressed. We used to frequent Onley, but were disappointed with their food. Now, we will make the 6-mile journey to Tasty Tucks, as the fish and chips were still warm when we got home. The staff were also very friendly.

A generous serving of fish chips and mushy peas. A nice guy ,who served us lovely food. Our son told us to go there. Good food cooked well and a friendly atmosphere. It was just what we needed we had had a hard day that ended with a very welcome helping of fish and chips.

We stopped in after a family outing and got a range of dishes. The large cod was absolutely huge and the chips (while a bit soft as the often are in the south) were tasty and again the portion large. The scampi was well cooked, and the doner kebab massive. All in all this was a first class stop in the chippy realm/

We’ve been going to Tasty Tuck for years. Never lets us down, huge portions, food is always hot and fresh, and the service is always friendly. Definitely the best chip shop in Bedford.

We decided to treat ourselves as we were going into tier 4 in Bedford. And went to the tasty tuck chippy wow what a fantastic takeaway. The fish was amazing white with such a light crispy batter and the chips were golden on the outside and fluffy in the middle. I must say that they were the best fish and chips I have eaten in a long long time, thank you tasty tuck. Truly amazing thanks. Scott
