Tesco Cafe - Bedford

Waited 25 mins for breakfast only one person cooking for everyone , breakfast came paid 8.50 ,egg whites were still clear asked for cooked ones ,,and they came after I had eaten the rest of my breakfast ,not able to swap hash browns for other items ,left hungry and very disappointed .no mushrooms no tomatoes .will never have Tesco breakfast again

Incredibly slow service. The queue wasn't that long (3 in front) but it took 15 minutes to get served

I walked into the cafe, holding my 5 year olds hand and walked over to the cafe desk. following behind me was my 10 year old, my 8 year old, my 6 year old and my 3 year old (being held by my 10 year old) We were all ready to chooce our food but then a rather rude couple came behind me and asked me and my 5 childrn to hurry up. i dont know if they have ever had children but ordering food is very difficult to do with kids. the couple kept bargin me and my family, very rude. the food was okay but very excpencive for how much we got but thats inflation right? anyway, staff as lovely as usual.

I eat large meals there and I wouldn't eat there regularly if the food wasn't good, reasonably priced and acceptable service. My truth is the service is exceptional and the quality ingredients, freshly cooked. Give credit where credit is due.

I can now say that this cafe is an absolute JOKE to buy your lunch at!!!! I seriously think the staff here have appalling service skills here, they clearly don’t even know what they’re doing. First impression I get is, ladies behind the till seen friendly and polite. Very slow service. Not very busy. This place is no different to when I last came, I had to even repeat myself three times in order for the waitress to accept my order. I asked for a portion of chips to take out. Throughout the time it took, several others ordering hot drinks at the same time, clearly the till staff seem to care about each other!!! Not so much about the state of the cafe and everybody else. Just chatting amongst themselves and each other... GODSAKE!!!! Finally when the till lady delivered the chips, I went over to add sauce and salt. To my horror, I opened the container to find only a few chips lingering in the bottom!!! Hello enough there for a five year olds lunch box!!!! Absolutely shocking and disappointing. I had to call over the till lady and the cook, to discuss my disappointment. I explained to the cook, ‘this portion isn’t good enough’ to my surprise the cook did say, ‘this is the portion required by the businesses policy.’ I asked for a top up, the cook didn’t seem to mind too much, he did apologise and took it back to top. To my embarrassment, I was stuck near the till waiting for an additional batch to come over. Took ages. Till lady offered me to continue being seated for the wait. I declined. Next the chips arrived after my complaint, cook did apologise again after the problem, about a certain amount of chips been added! I find this absolutely shocking and Ridiculous!!!!! Offering that to a fully grown adult. Enough there for a five year olds lunch.. I will say, I will not be returning again to this cafe. Really need to sort their cafe out complete nightmare. Never again!!
