Feedback gevenI had my birthday dinner during our 3 days stay, and the meal was absolutely phenomenal. We got a little unhappy with timing, as the kitchen was muded and we ended up waiting for an hour for our meal, but the server and the manager were surprisingly proactive. Many tables were in the same situation and they came out and talked to each and every one of us and offered to make things out of the bill without being asked. This is a good service! Our server said that she has worked there for many years and has only seen a handful of delays like this, so I doubt that many people experience it, but it was incredibly refreshing that they treat it as they did. As for food, every dish was absolutely delicious. We started with their rosemary and sea salt butter, and this is now our benchmark for the best bread we have ever received in a restaurant. The bread was fresh as possible, and with the amazing butter it was just the perfect combination. I got the fillet mignon with the truffle butter and her house steak sauce, and both were absolutely incredible supplements. The steak itself was brilliant, but the truffle taste had great taste and was worth the cost to add it. The steak sauce was also blowing spirit, and seeing how I was very uncertain what a sauce I really add happiness there. I couldn't order it if something else went forward, it was so good. My wife got the bride with Phyllo do what they really enjoyed, and I had a chance to try it and thought it was very tasteful. As pages we got the truffles and the lobster mac the truffles without truffles, but our server corrected this quickly and perhaps overcompensated, but it was in truffle sauce COVERED. As truffle friars may be my wife and I am the favorite thing in the world, we were in absolute heaven. The Mac and the cheese themselves were from this world, but the lobster I could have taken or left. I wish they had only a side dish of Mac and cheese, because I would probably order three and have that as my duck. For dinner we have the thunder holes of Frontier Tavern (it is not on the 1796 menu, you need to ask) and first they came very burned, but again, our server was on top and she had replaced them after. The caramel sauce with the donut holes was a perfect combination, and we came to the bar to get another order next night. The chocolate sauce was just fine and tasted something like Bosco/Hershey's chocolate syrup and not a melted chocolate. Overall there were at least a few situations that needed correction, but they did such a fantastic job to correct them (usually without being asked) and the food itself was simply so daring that I must give them 5 stars. We will definitely be back, and this restaurant will be at the top of our list!
Superior food. Had delicious steaks and amazing desserts. This was our first meal in Bedford Springs Omni and it was a perfect start to a great weekend!
Very good. Wonderful atmosphere. Good seating. The food was delicious. Beautiful portions, well flavored and seasoned. I usually take into consideration the menu prices, but this is in a raised resort so bring your wallet. Service was also impeccable. Nice place for a special occasion.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Ambiance is fun, service is excellent and friendly, and every dish on the menu is delicious (trust me, I've tried them all). Definitely give this place a try if you are staying at Bedford Springs resort, or even if you are just in the area!!
Had a beautiful dinner here! Upscale, moderately priced (in my opinion), great wine selection, awesome food choices. I would defintiely go back! And ask for Jacob! He was an awesome waiter and knows the menu and wines well!
