I met my mom and sister here for a girl day trip, as it was a half point for us to meet (I in pittsburgh, she in lancaster). I was thrilled when I was.
Came back to breakfast on Sunday and this time we could not resist a sample of almost every cake in this case. from a lemon blueberry, pecan pie.
This was probably the best meal we had in Bedford during our 3-day stay. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, which was delicious. My wife had scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes that were cooked to perfection. This cozy cafe in historic downtown serves generously sized portions that are sure to satisfy even the hungriest of diners. The atmosphere was charming, the music was relaxing, and the service was attentive. We also ended up buying about two dozen cookies to go, as they were just too good to resist. I highly recommend this place, especially for breakfast.
After shopping in the area, we decided to try out this restaurant. I was specifically searching for gluten-free options and was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic offerings. The menu had a variety of options including fresh soups, delicious house-made gluten-free bread, and even gluten-free cookies. I am already thinking of reasons to make the two-hour drive back here soon.
