Great food, great service and always super clean. We got there just before closing, not knowing this when we came in, and they still treated us like we were the first and didn't rush us. This was our second time there and we'll be back.
Great spot for a simple, wholesome breakfast in a local institution dating from the '50s. The eggs were fresh and delicious, country ham is available, and the hash browns and cheese grits were out of this world. Breakfast is served all day.
What is not to like about great food, a super friendly staff, and an owner who can call you by name and even sit with you while you are having breakfast! This is a treasure in the state of VA!
I have been here over 20 years and have NEVER tasted hush puppies like that. Dreamy! The coleslaw is fantastic. We will be coming back for more!
