Best meatballs you’ll have unless you trek down to mass (Borelli’s). Lisa and her family recipes have been making me happy for decades. George is the master!!!
We were in the area and decided to try it out. Place was empty mid-afternoon, so we had lots of attention and free samples too! We could've had anything made to order, but we chose the convenience of the prepackaged meatballs with rigs and chicken parm with rigs. We got a bunch of great meals out of those. We'll definitely be back.
Are we under new ownership here? No more Fivestars rewards points and a 3% surcharge for using my credit card?? Who carries cash anymore? The check out experience was terrible. The cashier had to manually enter my card numbers into the system and then asked- do you know the 5 digit zip code of the billing address? If this is the new normal I'll take my business elsewhere...like to the other side of the building...
Food was not well prepared. There was a lot of food but that doesn’t make it good. Chicken tasted like it was boiled in the wine sauce. Broccoli was boiling hot, too large to eat in one bite.Young ladies were very nice at the counter.
Complete rip off. The original Rigatonys in Derry was great but it has gone way downhill. Got takeout in Bedford tonight and it was horrible. We got the Rigatony, chicken, and broccoli (cream) and it was like soup, so much liquid with some mushy noodles and dry chicken. A Greek salad with chicken- the chicken was very obviously not fresh. It was rubbery and chewy and also had big chunks of fat in it. It's RIDICULOUSLY overpriced for bad quality, for what we paid we could have gone out to a restaurant.
