True North Diner -  Bedford,

This diner looks like you came out of the 50s. The interior the waitresses the jukebox it all looks like Archie comic book. I had a burger and fries the food was reasonably priced and was quick. The service was quick, staff was friendly if you want to step back in time go here for lunch.

We tried True North after a year or so of avoiding the place. I can only say the food hasn't improved very much. I will not say the food was bad but not served as I expected from the menu description. The serves was slow and the food was not really hot when I got. It will be a while before I go back again.

What a treat to find this restaurant by the Bedford mall that's styled just like a diner straight out of the 50's: checkered floor, waitress uniforms, juke box, and Laverne & Shirley playing on the big screen TVs. On Wednesdays and Thursday they have a duo singing 50's tunes. Menu was standard diner fare with a good selection. Food was okay (fried were a little underdone for my tastes) and the service was fast, friendly and attentive. It was packed but we got right in. The portions were smaller but I actually like that as I find a lot of restaurants go overboard.

Great service, good food, and a wonderful atmosphere! Portion sizes where not excessive, not to small either. Friendly and cheerful.

I recently visited True North Diner for my neice's birthday. The location is central to Bedford, the food average diner food, the staff were friendly and quick, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. We enjoyed ourselves.
