Le Mas des Vignes - Bédoin

Had a late dinner at Le Mas des Vignes with 8 friends at the beginning of September, so unfortunately just saw the end of sunset. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating even when we messed them around with confusion from our side as to...how many we would be. The food was excellent most of us went with foie gras as a starter and opted for tender, perfectly cooked and seasoned beef or lamb for main and local apricot tart for dessert. We went easy on the wine as cycling the next day, however, found the carte very attractive and reasonably priced. Ambiance of the restaurant is warm, cosy and intimate. Would strongly recommend Le Mas des Vignes for an evening out with friends or a romantic tête à tête.

This was recommended by our hotel. We went on our last night in the Vaucluse and wished we'd been earlier as unlike many places in Bedoin and Crillon the menu has a fairly wide choice. The setting on a large terrace facing west...and overlooking Mont Ventoux is stunning and perfect at sunset on a warm evening. Even though the restaurant was full, service was friendly and well organised. Particularly good foie gras, lamb and beef, an interesting wine list and a reasonable bill (just under 100 euros for two). There seemed to be an unusually high proportion of locals with inevitably in France their dogs who also seemed to enjoy the food!

Pour la 4 eme fois j'espérais passer une soirée agréable , un bon repas et un beau coucher de soleil. En appelant pour réserver , 15 jours a l'avance , je suis tombé sur une harpie me demandant si je venais pour manger ou pour voir le coucher de soleil ?!?! Et qui me dit que j'aurais la table qui sera libre quand j'arriverai , et qui ca ne me convenais pas je n'avais q'a aller aulleurs !!!!!! AVANT DE ME RACCROCHER AU NEZ ! il est vraiment dommage que cet établissement soit tombé si bas et ai fait le choix de ne fonctionner que comme un piege a touristes ! Je saurais faire toute la publicité que ce " restaurant " mérite.

The restaurant offers a pre-set menu (including a lobster menu) with different choices for starter, main course and dessert.The food is OK, not really amazing but go there for the fantastic locations.The restaurant is located at the mountain side of the Mont Ventoux with a...beautifull sunset view over Les Dentelles

We have been visiting this restaurant off and on for about 30 years and it has never failed to please. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the views are, as always, spectacular, especially if you are fortunate enough to catch the setting...sun check the time and the weather forecast before booking if you want to see it at its best.
