Tanswell's - BEECHWORTH

The dining experience was fantastic. The hot butter starter was particularly delightful, and the fish was beautifully prepared. The flies in the bar were somewhat bothersome, but the heat made it understandable.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The wines were of excellent quality.

Great pub without poker machines or screens. many indoor and outdoor seating for meals. seasonal and local feeds as well as standard sub-grub options. we have eaten several times here and the meals are from good to excellent. the personal is fabulous.

Great atmosphere. Great food. The gnocchi (vegetarian) was absolutely delicious.

Great food, great service, BUT non stop American 50s rock and roll playlist at high volume had us very keen to depart. Apparently it’s a Sunday tradition, and one we will avoid in the future. On a very busy, holiday Sunday for Beechworth the wonderful front bar remained empty- patrons driven out by the incessant, monotonous 50s ****.
