The Aging Frog Fish - BEECHWORTH

This charming fish and chip shop in the lovely town of Beechworth is fantastic. There are plenty of lunchbox options to choose from, all at great prices, especially with the added side salad. I highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try!

Fantastic! This place is a hidden gem, cleverly disguised as an ordinary fish and chip shop. It's intriguing to see other reviewers claiming it's the best they’ve ever had. I can’t imagine battered barramundi and sweet potato scallops being any better, as it's hard to top perfection. We dined in the café, where the food was prepared quickly and served piping hot. I definitely plan to return for more, even though I live over 1400 kilometers away.

Beechworth boasts some truly fantastic dining options. The Aging Frog Fish Bar is a must-visit for anyone who loves a great fish and chips experience. It's easily among the best I've ever had. The potato cakes are simply exceptional, and the portion of fresh fish is generous, accompanied by delicious chips. Treat yourself and give them a try!

Amazing potato fritters!! A must try for all! Also the spicy cauliflower dish is very tasty also. Friendly service each time, we shall be back!

John Sampson. At the recommendation of The Stanley Goose Cottage where we were staying we visited The Ageing Frog Fish bar and had an absolutely great 'feed '. Chips and potato cakes were delicious, battered fish, sardine and crumbed prawn melted in the mouth. This is a real quality fish and chippery with generous proportions and a patient, friendly receptionist taking orders.A must visit if in the Beechworth area.
