Google card does not work in china and I can't read Chinese kanji, I'm sorry. as described was the restaurant on 1st floor, in the ground floor is a business. there was no one from the person in the restaurant. the place was almost empty only a company 4-5 people customers who would not worry about my sense at all. I waited 10min, but nobody comes. I looked around and I didn't like the environment. the place is not very clean and not in good order. finaly I decided that it is not worth waiting and leaving higly disapointed from my first vegan restaurant in China. Nevertheless, I wish that the Chinese veganism will accept more for the well of the animals, the planets and for their own health and more and better vegan restaurant will be opened in the future. Too bad that I had only tonight for vegan experience in peking and only got white when or whether I'm going to peking again. as always for the right coordinates they take off at the ping’anli subway station and drive them south on the left side of the road. this is the real N.Xisi road. search for No.58 (red label.) it is not far approx. 200-250m south. the real coirdinates are 39.928665N, 116.367064E it would be good if eric updated the coordinates. prost.
The place is easy to find with the pictures on Happy Cow or with apple maps. We first discovered the nice shop downstairs. It’s very good for vegans who don’t speak Chinese. We bought a lot of stuff. Vegan meat is just around 8 Y. The Restaurant is in the first floor. The stuff looked more on his smartphone then on his guests, but we got our food very quick. We had mockmeat with some vegetables, different dumplings and spicy beans. We didn’t get rice, so maybe you have to order it separate. All taste quite nice but it was nothing special. The price was ok for Beijing we paid 86 Y. The Menu have pictures but no English description.
Everything was delicious, I'm glad to be in Beijing for a couple days so I can ear here multiple times! I had a rough time chosing from the menu because everything looked freaking amazing! It was very cheap around 35 RMB for main dish and 15-25 RMB for sides. I also had a great time shopping downstairs, I wish I had more room in my luggage (
Went to the restaurant on a rainy day, so I was the only customer there for a long time. Service was prompt and professional enough. The server didn't get me utensils, but there were plenty lying around. Food was excellent! I got a rice bowl w vegan meat crumbles and sauteed broccoli, lotus roots, wood ear mushroom, peppers (didn't catch any English name for these). Ingredients tasted pretty fresh, and seasoning didn't seem to involve too much MSG. I like buying snacks as souvenirs, so I was glad to see they sell Beijing-style ones here that I know are vegan, unlike at other stores like Dao Xiang Cun.
Food really good! Portions are quite big so no need to order multiple sides.
