They should simply cross the road and find the banner with green leaf. the things did not speak English at all, but the menu is doubled in English, and there are many pictures. they should know that the parts are huge. it is written in the menu. I tried a few noodles and there were 20 pieces in mine. but they can pack everything for you. the prices are good, about 15-20 rmb in average. the noodles did not like. many natives. the witness is very kind.
This place is at least 10-15 minutes walk from the subway XiZhiMen. It's placed in a courtyard. The atmospehre is not very cosy and in winter it's quite cold inside. We ordered several kinds of bamboo, which were all delicious. But the menu is not too different from other vegan or vegetarian restaurants. Some mock meat dishes tasted real, even though their look and texture didn't scary...
The restaurant was big, two floors, the food is good a lot of variety to introduce to non-veg friends! Also the service is very friendly, we ordered a vegan cake which is to be delivered there, and the restaurant offered to pay for it until we get there, which was really nice of them. Buddhist environment, more grown-ups go there than younger people.
I arrived at 12:00. The restaurant was half-full. Kind of noisy due to several kids there. The food was oily, but the taste was still good. You have to wait some time for the dishes to be served. RMB 50 per person and I was really full.
Excellent Chinese cuisine with many Mock meats and herbal dishes. The famous dish of her is a braided mock fish, in a deep sauce with lotus root and other things: the taste is deep and satisfying and the mock fish has amazing textures. Their mock duck pancakes are also great, filling with crispy crust and full roast flavor (although my colleague thought it was too oily).
