Feedback gevenI love Angelina, I'm going to the Paris Café and one of my cafés in Beirut. I always find myself there when I want to enjoy a delicious cup of hot chocolate, their breakfast is tasteful and delicious. I also enjoy their jams and desserts. You should try this place.
Hot Chocolat is the same taste as in Paris, you will love it. A tip try it when it's too cold in Beirut
When I went to Angelina to brunch, I felt like an excited child to open a gift on Christmas day. I thought about what I would order, and of course about the pictures I could do there. After we parked the car, we enjoyed the walk on our way to the famous French restaurant and the terrace series. When we arrived and entered, we were greeted by friendly waiters, beautiful painted sections of white walls, and mostly brown furniture to balance the brightness. After we were sitting and easily equipped with a high chair, it was time to order. As a brunch type of person I wanted to taste a variety of their breakfast offers. Angelina offers various breakfast set menus, an egg menu that starts at 9 a.m. and an additional à la carte menu that goes until noon, then there is a brunch menu and lunch plates that start to be served. We were still in the time for breakfast menus, and decided to celebrate on Angelina breakfast and Eggs Benedict Platter with smoked salmon. The waiter took all the order mentally aware, including our choices of the options for the Angelina Breakfast. Yes, no jokes on a piece of paper, and no input of the information on a tablet, and our order was completely fine; No mistakes here. When the food arrived, I had to take photos of the ingredients while they were still in their unspoiled condition; although I must admit that sometimes I easily envy the company I am, who are in spite of their hunger. We started with bread and butter, as well as the selection of croissants and jams; I liked her zaatarian croissant. I especially enjoyed the Angelina hot chocolate I had chosen. It was thick, creamy and satisfying, and strange, it tasted like good (can be even better) when it became colder. Let's just say if you feel like drinking a chocolate bar, this comes very close to the satisfaction that is required. Then the eggs made their debut. Zooming on Eggs Benedict; it was wonderfully appetizing when the hollandaise sauce with the bright orange quality, which cascaded from the posing eggs when they were cut open. The eggs that sit on hidden smoked salmon and the whole combination of the dish is really delicious (all hail the creator of this dish). Another simpler, but delicate way to do your eggs is the softly cooked method, and for the eggs to be large, they just have to be boiled the correct amount. When I broke the bowl of the egg, I waited for the oozing of the ground egg yolk on the sides and created a tasty mess. I wasn't disappointed, the anticipation wasn't gone. I dived the roasted bars of bread into the core and revealed at the moment of the happiness of simpler things in life. Another source of joy for me is the pastry. Angelina has a terrace with attractive sweets on the display. We ordered the stack “Le Mont-Blanc” signature piece, as well as the “Duchesse” and “Bianca” to take home with us. Honestly, I prefer Angelina's salt to her caramel; her pastries is a Ted on the sweet side for my taste. However, I would like to point out that the large service has also been extended to its terrace; the lady who was there was polite and friendly. In addition, the waiter was about pieces Angelina had before, and the components of each dessert when I asked about them. I let Angelina know I'd enjoy her breakfast again.
Good place to have breakfast. Prices are on the higher side. Mustafa was very customer friendly and gave very good suggestions.
Elegant restaurant in the Beirut's downtown. It is very elegant and is hosted by attentive waiters. The location is unbeatable. Breakfast there is one of my favorites. It is a bit expensive but surely worth the price.
