Anise - Beirut

Perhaps the best cocktails I've ever had and I had cocktails on places like garibaldis nightclub yarmouth, so I absolutely, 100.% definitiw, knows what I'm talking about when it comes to the diving of quality cocktails in high quality.

A bit pricey, but excellent, friendly service and truly well-made cocktails.

The cocktails are good but the service is very bad. We had a table and we were constantly ordering and the waiter came and asked one of us to stand up to give the chair to another table. They had no reservation and his pretext was that each table has to have a minimum of 3 chairs and we cannot take a chair from one table to another. Newsflash that table was already with 3 chairs and they were taking a forth from us. Won't go back. Also cocktails good but very expensive

I've worked hospitality for 20 years and I've visited bars all over the globe and i can honestly say that this is the best cocktail bar I've been to in my life. The cocktails are superb, the barmen skilled and knowledgeable, and the selection of arrak is delightful. We left it up to the barman to select our drinks and each one was better than the next. If in Beirut, do yourself a favour and visit this place. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
