Good if it catches you on the way. We stopped in Beja on our way to the Algarve and based on the reviews we went here to eat. It is a spacious place, without a terrace, it had several empty tables, the service was quick. We ordered a spiced pork adobo and some cod screams and a couple of beers. It was delicious and very cheap, without great pretensions for what it does. Recommended.

We really enjoyed having lunch here. Good food and good atmosphere. We spent our holidays at the same owner's local accommodation (Roman Empire/Guest House) and the experience was very good. Everything extremely clean. Optimal service!
We were looking for a place to eat in beja and came over this restaurant. when the grill was closed, we were in what we could order, so we got the pork and musty pot as well as baked truthahn eskalopes. they both came. with chips and the truthahn dish also had tears. we liked the simpleness of the truthahn, which was fresh and crisp. the pork and clam dish was interesting, but the pork was quite dense and dry and the sauce was a delicate salty. we had also dessert a cream-colored and a layered cake. both were nice and a good end of the meal. overall we liked the place and the service was helpful and friendly. the pork dish was a tad disappointing, but otherwise we enjoyed eating that we had the beautiful, local feeling of the restaurant. would give a good assessment if it existed!
