Gorgeous little restaurant and food was delicious. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. At one point we saw who we assume was the boss come out from the back and give the staff all a talking to… staff seemed obviously upset. Staff were apologising for “the wait” (we didn’t wait long AT ALL), and then seemed amazed that we tipped given “the circumstances”?! We were baffled. Firstly, I don’t know what the issue was their boss had, as we couldn’t pick any fault. We were told there may be a wait when we arrived (walked in, no reservation), and were fine about this, despite hardly waiting… Secondly, no one should be talking to staff in any manner to upset them, IN VIEW OF CUSTOMERS. This is how you lose good staff. 5 stars for this place and it’s serving staff. 0 for the boss and how they treated them.

Booked this place on the spur of the moment and am so glad to have discovered it! Cosy atmosphere, fantastic friendly service and really great food. Sea bass and Roast Beef mains were excellent, goats cheese and prawn starters delicious, plus great pizzas! Highly recommend and have rebooked to go back as a large party next month.

Beautifully small and pretty inside. Service excellent and staff both professional and extremely friendly. Food delicious especially the pasta dishes. Will definitely be returning.

Such welcoming staff at this authentic local Italian. Don’t be put off by the takeaways surrounding it the food is absolutely delicious and the interior cosy. Everyone talks about their tiramisu (which is delicious) but we thought the Sicilian lemon tart left it in the shade spectacular.
