Black Mountain - Belfast

We dined at this lovely restaurant for a birthday celebration for my dear friend, and it was a fantastic experience. The meal was exceptional, offering three courses for just £15. The menu had a great variety, and the friendly staff really enhanced our visit. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend it. Just be sure to book in advance, as it gets quite busy, especially on Sundays. I also want to mention that Trinity Lodge recently suffered a serious fire and is currently closed; I hope they can reopen soon. Wishing them all the best!

My initial impressions of the restaurant were quite off-putting; it felt almost dirty and made me hesitant to explore further. However, I decided to overlook those first impressions and we proceeded inside. To my surprise, the restaurant was nearly full but had a welcoming atmosphere. It was clean and the staff greeted us warmly. We enjoyed our meal, which was served promptly, in generous portions, and at a reasonable price.

I can only say that it was one of the most beautiful Christmas dinners we ever had, because not only the food was plentiful and tasty, but it was also hot piping. the personal was also very kind and nothing was too much annoyed for them. Finally, do not judge a book through its cover, as I almost did, the place itself is nothing imagination, no frills simply nice to earth people and food. happy christmas

The family have been here loads of times. Food is not expensive at all, a good menu with lots of choice and great staff too. Food is always plentiful with added sides when requested. Could not fault this place. Well done! Only downside, a small one, they don't take credit or debit cards so remember to have cash on you.
