I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The red curry was delicious, although quite spicy. The spring rolls were also tasty. The only downside was that the tofu dish came with a side pot of sweet chili sauce instead of being coated in it. Nonetheless, it was still enjoyable.
We stumbled upon this restaurant while taking a stroll around the university on a sunny evening. The restaurant was bustling and quite noisy, but we were fortunate enough to snag a table and I'm glad we did. They offer a separate vegan menu with a wide variety of options. We decided to try four dishes between the two of us, all priced around £4-£5 each. The atmosphere was perfect! We inquired about the vegan choices and were impressed by the manager's knowledge. The vegetables in the curries were crunchy, fresh, and vibrant. The spice level was just right, with plenty of fresh herbs and ginger. The dishes were clean and not greasy. They allow you to bring your own vegan beers and wines with a reasonable corkage fee. The staff seemed a bit rushed, but they were friendly and efficient, getting us in and out in just 45 minutes.
This restaurant serves incredibly authentic dishes. The staff is very helpful and most dishes can be adapted to be vegetarian or vegan, which is fantastic. Each dish is just the right amount of food and the prices are also very reasonable.
Had a great meal here, lovely (but flavorful) red curry! The spring rollers were great. A little disappointing that the tofu tod came with a sweet chili sauce dipping pot instead of coated in it. Still pleasant.
