Yum The Hunting Lodge - Belfast

I recently visited the Old Hunting Lodge and had an incredible experience! From the impressive selection of cocktails to the delicious Salt and Chili Sum starter and the Bacon Cup main course, the restaurant truly outdid themselves. The food was absolutely delicious.

Outstanding 5 star review! Today I spontaneously decided to go bowling in the morning, and my husband suggested we try Yum at their new location on Stewartstown Road in Belfast. We had been wanting to try it for a while, especially since my husband used to be a regular customer when they were located in Stranmillis. We were greeted by the lovely Paula, who was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. This was our first time at their new location, and we were quickly seated and served drinks. Our waitress, Demi, was very helpful and took our food order promptly. Our son opted for the fish and chips instead of the children's menu, while my husband and I ordered the satte huhn. The food was absolutely incredible - delicious, warm, fresh, and served in generous portions. The chicken noodles were particularly outstanding. The chef and owner, Tommy, along with his wife Paula, really know how to cook! Throughout our meal, we were checked on to ensure everything was to our liking. The service was top-notch and we can't wait to come back for more delicious food and exceptional service. Thank you, Yum!

The beautiful ambiance with all the bright flowers around the fireplace made it very inviting. The food was delicious, especially the steak which was cooked to perfection – juicy and perfectly seasoned to my liking. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and accommodated my food allergy without any issues. It's also great that there is free parking available. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Don't forget to check out the ice cream shop for dessert!

Very tasty eating, beautiful presented but main dishes felt like very little meat on them. still give 5 stars because the taste was absolutely amazing!

Have been a regular visitor to the Hunting Lodge restaurant for many years and it was decent. This was the first time going since YUM has taken over. Selection of food was very good (maybe a bit more variety in the starters as mostly fish), main courses all amazing. Great portions, excellent food, fresh and tasty. My nephew is vegan and the menu was excellent. Our family get together was made even better because of the food and service we will be back very soon.
