We were at this place on Friday night and it was completely empty, which is usually not a good sign. However, we have decided to stay as we were hungry and it came too late. The prices were ok, maybe pricy for Serbian, but the food simple, home-style food we were looking for. Portions are big. In these restaurants, musicians are quite annoying, but as it is tradition and we are tourists, you just have to be patient:

The staff is friendly. The food is delicious and the portions are quite large. A glass or two of plum rakija goes great with it all.

One of the oldest restaurants in Belgrade, a lot of history happens there.

Beautiful restaurant, in the middle of the old town on the main food road in Belgrade. Nevertheless, the cook could make a better job, vegetarian options are minimal for the main course and the kitchen is not very impressive. How to combine, great location, but average food

It's a place in the middle of Skadarlija. Very touristic. I loved the atmosphere with the old serbian music, but the food was nothing special and definetly overpriced. If you order a Serbian Mixed BBQ Plate the portion is mini and they don't have things like Kajmak and Ajvar! Something that is traditional to Serbian Bbq. So the food was disappointing and for a restaurant that claims that history and standard they shall more give attention on having clean bathrooms/ toilets...cause these were not nice at all.
