Maxie’s Lounge - Belize City

This is a great place to relax. eating is amazing and the atmosphere is soothing and cooled. I often go here to make a photo of beer with friends.

My sister and I went for taco Tuesday and it was amazing. the tortillas are made in the house and it was so soft. like nothing I ever had. we had aracheras and the sides to complete the tacos the bark very well! we also had whip that was enough to share between us. our waitress was also very friendly and attentive. all about good experience!

Maxie's Restaurant and Lounge is probably the only restaurant in Belize that has given me excellent service each time I've visited them. Their spotless dining area and ambiance encourages you to relax and leave the experience to the professionals. Ms. Angelica has waited on us each time and I must say she is very attentive and pleasant, and quick to help us navigate their menu which is very diverse but not overwhelming. And if you haven't been there, their Curry Chicken is to die for! All in all, if you're looking for great dining experience and good Belizean picks, I would definitely recommend Maxies Restaurant and Lounge .
