La Colomba Tropical Garden

A place with a wonderful view of Lake Sabaudia, an elegant, familiar and welcoming atmosphere where you can eat innovative but also traditional dishes. We tasted pasta with broccoli and spruce, poached baby octopus and exquisite sea snails... and then the kind, competent staff also on wines. Excellent quality/price. Definitely recommended. We will definitely be back!!

UNMISSABLE in the summer season but ALSO IN WINTER... A historic place where it is very evocative to eat by the lake in summer, it turned out to be a great discovery even in winter in the upper internal room where they managed to perfectly recreate the same atmosphere of the tropical garden. Excellent aperitif with cocktails starting at €7 which we accompanied with a nice platter of cold cuts and cheeses for €10. The highlight remains the cuisine with the historic grilled razor clams and the timeless spaghetti with clams which were paired with typical dishes of Roman cuisine (superlatives Amatriciana and Fornara-style veal breast). We happened on a Saturday and the DJ set was also excellent, starting from 6pm with an aperitif until after dinner. Kid-friendliness: Large spaces between tables for small children
