Edna's Lunch - Belle River

That was the worst place ever eaten. first the people couldn't understand me at all. second, I asked for speck and eggs, which were only $5.65- they gave me a very dry and tasted as it was recycled and...sold and 2 peace of speck. I also asked for a SMALL salad I made very clear. becuase it was only $6. they gave me a large sogy salad drenched in dressing. I gave them a 20-dollar bill about 8 dollars or more in change, and he just went away and put it in his pocket! forget to mention they don't wear gloves and dont wash there hands. the dame that touched my salat, trembled her nose with her fingers and then went on to touch my food with dirty hands. they understand nothing and do the total opposite of what they ask just to steal their money and offer very little service and eat. To be honest, I feel like they just took advantage of me because of my age and my greatness and the gender. I am 16 years old and look very young and tiny. I was very nice to them, but didn't get any respect back. never ever back to this disusting ripoff resturaunt. I suggest they go to outfield diner or another place (if they don't want to get mad or a disease from there bad hands.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, the prices are affordable, and the food is delicious! I also appreciate the generous portion sizes. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant for breakfast for the first time and was impressed by the large portions, delicious pastries, and friendly service.

Ednas' is a quaint restaurant on the main drag in Belle River. Meals are prepared with old fashion family recipes. The coleslaw I had was just like the one my Grandmother made for me 60 years ago. The taste brought back memories of her. The...halibut was delicious as was the chicken. Portion sizes are huge and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are with family. The cook came ago and asked us if we would like to sample the chicken, we thought it was a nice gesture. He came back with a cart and a pan full of breaded chicken which we chose the piece we would like to sample. It was delicious. Yes, they do not being a bill to the table. But you go up to the entrance of the kitchen and tell them what you ordered and they make up the bill. places should follow this restaurant model of hospitality. We defintely would not hesitate to come back. We are from London. Ontario and were in Belle River for a hockey play off for our grandson in the St. Thomas Stars team. Not sure where to even start. This place is easily the best breakfast place we have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The food portions were enormous and the cost was low. Both Edna, Joe and all of the staff went over and above...for all of us. If your from out of town and considering a place to go and eat, this is the place!!!
