Hidden Lake Winery - Belleville

This place is perfect for a quaint outing with friends! I went to celebrate my friend’s birthday this Tuesday afternoon. I there were no cars when I got there just before 1pm and I was sure they were closed. They weren’t! I walked inside and the gal working today said it was just quiet during the week. She said they weren’t serving food today, and I asked if we could bring in food. And she was gracious to let us even though they don’t normally allow that’s She recommended us try the Off Duty wine, and it was delicious. We bought a bottle and sat by the lake for hours! It was so nice and beautiful out there! It was perfect for the occasion.

Just went to have some wine and food. Had great sweet wines, and the appetizers were fantastic.

Hidden Lake Winery is a hidden gem, a perfect retreat near Albers IL that features some of the most incredible wine I've ever tried, and absolutely gourmet food.Wine samples are currently $2, so we were able to sample several wines before choosing. We finally settled on the Black Vino and the 2nd Amendment, with the 2nd Amendment being one of the top 3 white wines I've ever tried. It was incredible.The food was just as impressive, with the spinach artichoke dip and Buffalo chicken Flatbread both being easily worth their price tag. There were so many other options on the menu we didn't get a chance to try, but definitely will when we come back. We highly recommend visiting this secluded winery!Food drinks: Incredible food and wine selection.

We asked if we could sit upstairs and were left Un attended. We didn't get offered water, drinks or appetizers. We had planned to order dinner as well. This was our first time here. It was supposed to be our anniversary dinner.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary here and let me say it was FANTASTIC. I really felt like Angela and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible time. We got lucky and our anniversary landed on the weekend they were doing their Hoedown and MAN that was so much fun. Amazing drinks and dancing the night away followed by a short walk to where we were sleeping? Yes please. The beds were soft and comfy. The jacuzzi tub was relaxing. Very clean and well kept. We originally had reservations for dinner at restaurant a short distance away and we just didn’t want to leave so we cancelled and stayed at the winery for dinner instead. I had the smash burger and my husband had the lobster melt and there was no room for complaints or criticism. Absolutely delicious. I look forward to our next visit!! Very clean, good food, good entertainment, even better drinks and wine, the best service and the most wonderful accommodations. 10/10 recommend.
