When I said I'm here to pickup an order he said it would be an hour wait, then realized I'd called ahead to order and confirmed 10min til pickup. The rolls are fine, the wasabi is really suspicious looking, and the whole shop feels kind of sad. These are their specialty rolls, which feel really lackluster for 13$ without the 2 for 20$ deal
GROSS! The whole area is very poorly ventilated, I went in and stayed there for a pickup, and my hair smells like greasy rotten food. What made it worse on my way out, the door handle was full of oil!!! Now my hand and my phone are super greasyClean your door handle pleaseAlso the cashier is super rude and impatient
This must be under new ownership… this is one of the only places where I get sushi. Went in a few weeks ago 30 minutes before whey were closing and they denied us at the door while their Open sign was still up. Went in today and were told that they could only do Bento boxes because their sushi chef was not in… what??? This is a sushi place. The quality and taste of the sushi used to be the best I’ve ever had and since what seems to be like they have gotten new ownership the complete experience of coming to this location has diminished extremely. The rolls are loose and the batter used in the tempura is now super flaky. Original owners PLEASE BUY THIS PLACE BACK. THEY ARE RUINING IT.
A colleague brought us lunch from here. He had to go back because two rolls were missing from the take out order. The rolls (spicy tuna, salmon, veggie) were ok. Not bad, but not great. Also, they were sliced into such HUGE sections that they were really quite awkward to eat at our lunch meeting.
Restaurant didn't give driver the entire order. Unsure if I'll order from there again.
