Stopped here to eat a bite just before our Vegas trip (Pre-COVID). it was a recommended location near the airport. it was very clean and the menu was simple and familiar. the service was then quite slow and inattentive, although only 3 tables were full. I enjoy my meal, which was part of the American size (no surprise). I couldn't finish my plate that was was wasted, but both dishes were pleasant. we felt that we had a good value for the reasonable price we paid. it is a great place to eat when they are stuck in bellingham airport. in any case would go back to food quality and price. I hope it will be back soon.
Our server (sorry, her name I forgot) was so great! She was doing it all by herself.... bartender, server, clearing tables, etc. and still had a smile on her face and was so willing to help and please. You don't see much of that nowadays, so kudos to her!!
Please be aware the current menu is very basic American. The one currently listed by Google is not representative of their current offerings. Looks they used to be a bit fancier pre COVID.
I just ate there on Saturday and it’s awful. After I got my burger I thought a joke was being played on me. It looked like something a kid would make. A lump of unseasoned meat with plastic cheese on a soggy roll. I took two bites of what you call a burger and pushed it to the edge. The new server (first night )had no clue and didn’t even ask why it wasn’t eaten. My date got the chicken strips and looked like a kids meal with two tiny pieces on a plate. The drinks were a mess and tasted nothing like what the should have. Then we were told there are no more limes but magically they reappeared 2 drinks later. We were handed to filthy used paper menus and the booth was full of crumbs. Apparently kids kid eat in the bar as well. What a joke this place is. Ruined the Northwater name.
