Visited low season. visited early during the day. I totally missed on her website that it was byob. the service staff were great. eating was very well prepared. it is a great experience for the first timer. the price was somewhat high compared to other bets. I serve at my place so I can compare. I'm sorry, but before I would recommend this place, a trip to iron bound.
Great place to experience for the first time! service was great, very attentive. large options tasteful selection of meat.
The overall atmosphere was great and the quality of the food was good. The servers were frequent and accommodating. Unfortunately, the main waiter was horrible at service. He didn't stop by to check on us appropriately, didn't explain the meal structure to us when taking our initial drink order, and everything took longer than should have, from coming back to take our order, refilling drinks, and getting the bill (had to chase him down after we asked for the check...he was standing by the coffee machine waiting for cups to fill for another table, when the terminal was only a step away). If there was a different waiter, it probably would have been a better experience. They have a seasonal liquor license so we had to BYOB (which was fine), but the sangria they made was not worth it. Overall, it was a little bit pricier than it should have been. Worth a try, but we likely won't revisit anytime soon. There are better options in the area.
Unfortunately this is the only “Brazilian Steakhouse” in the area, so your forced to overlook the obvious problems. Yes, the food is very good.. good location, and you’ll definitely leave full. However, like most places now, good help is very hard to find. Our server was not new, spoke English as a second language, and apparently was one of only 2 servers we could see working. No manager walking around, no quality control, and obviously they are well aware that they are the only game in town. I don’t blame our server though, she’s obviously busy. I blame the horrible management, who are so comfortable in their position of having zero competition, that they don’t bother to give one thought to the customers experience, or the fact that your paying $60 per person plus tip to have to beg for water. Oh, and it might be the same genius who decided to charge $4.50 for a scoop of ice cream after having us drop $360 on dinner. Is it really that expensive?
