The food is always good here. The owner is there every single time which is why it's probably always good. There is a big difference between paying a lot of teenagers to take care of your business or actually being there yourself every day to make sure everything is perfect and it shows. Order here with confidence.

My new favorite Japanese spot. The food was great quality, delicious reasonably priced. The service was fast the staff was kind. I will definitely be back recommend it to others.

We love Mama Poke Bowl! We eat here at least once a week and everyone in our family loves it (including the kiddos! The food is extremely fresh and delicious! The owner is very friendly and thoughtful, she has our order memorized, right down to the specialty sauces we like! Also, the service is FAST! We drive 25+ minutes to eat here, over closer locations, because we love it so much. Absolutely recommend!!Vegetarian options: They have options and can customize as you need!Kid-friendliness: Our kiddos love the chicken fried rice, hibachi and our teen makes her own poke bowls! They have cooked chicken for the poke bowls too, for kiddos that don’t like raw seafood. : Parking: Since it is located in a strip, next to a Harris Teeter, there is plenty of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicapped parking and the business is on the ground floor, with a ground floor bathroom.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and the owner was able to guide me to the options safe for me! They have some gluten free sauce options and gluten free soy. The location is very clean, organized, and sanitary. I have zero worries about cross contamination.
