We ordered Chicken Adobo, Tocilog, Tapsilog, Longanisa, and Lumpia, and we devoured them quickly. Every last grain of rice was gone because the flavors were so delicious. I am already craving another meal from here as I write this review, especially the garlic rice which was absolutely amazing. The woman who took my order was incredibly kind, although I am not certain if she was the owner. The food arrived quickly and it was clear that it was made with care and love. It felt like receiving a warm hug after a long day. I highly recommend supporting this local small business!
The Filipino breakfast at this restaurant is fantastic. They unfortunately do not offer Barako Filipino Coffee or any coffee at all, but you can bring your own. I would have given them 4 stars due to the lack of coffee options, but the Tapsilog and Tosilog were so delicious that I ultimately decided to give them 5 stars. Just a tip: if you prefer your longanisa well-done, be sure to specify that when you place your order.
This is the place for some home cooked filipino meals. My family and I were staying in Belmont while visiting my sister. We ordered the tapsilog, bansilog, longsilog and the tosilog. The whole -silog term is just meaning with egg in case you 're wondering. They serve each -silog with garlic rice which is nearly a staple for filipino breakfasts. They were all friggin ' delicious. The tapsilog and tosilog was a little fatty and chewy for me but my wife loved it. Bansilog was a hit with the kids and I. We went during the second surge of the pandemic so dine-in wasn 't an option. The place is really small but you can definitely tell it is family owned. The people here are super friendly and polite. Please be courteous of any restaurant owners (especially family owned businesses) who are struggling during the pandemic to cook many orders without much help. This family was definitely working it! I will definitely come back if we every stay in Belmont again! Filipino pride.
Small mom-and-pop Filipino restaurant with good sized portions and yummy food. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I've gotten their tosilog a few times, which is always very yummy. I tried their chicken arroz caldo recently as well, and it was packed with flavor! It's a very large portion so I still had maybe 2/3 of the bowl for leftovers. They are open for indoor dining now. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, but they do get busy! It was packed when I went on a Sunday around noontime. If you are trying to place a to-go order over the phone but they don't pick up, just be patient since they do seem to be a little understaffed. I ended up placing the order when I got there, and it was about a 15 min wait for food. There is limited street parking right out front, with some more street parking spots on the side street.
Place is clean . Good Filipino tapsilog . Place to go to if I am craving for a rice meal. Go try once and I'll guarantee you will go back .
