Gunyah - Belmont

Such a lovely place to dine with fantastic views over Lake Macquarie. The food was reasonably priced and a good variety of tasty dishes. The staff were very efficient and helpful when ordering and delivering our food. Highly recommend the Gunyah Hotel.

We had dinner at the pub with my partners family. This pub is quite nice. The restaurant had beautiful views to the water. Was lovely to eat with that view. My meal was a Prawn and chorizo fettuccine. It was delicious. The 3 others had steaks all which were cooked differently and to their likings.. Happy all round. The desserts were great as well.. I would definitely go back and recommend it..

Great food. Very reasonable priced. Staff were fantastic (bar and restaurant) will be eating and drinking here again. Really good views of the lake

Had lunch with some friends here today, lunch was perfect, meals were good, hot and fast. I wanted mention a staff member Rachael, awesome staff member, she went above and beyond to help out us out with something that had nothing to do with the hotel but was time critical. Cam for dinner on New Year’s Eve. Been eating here for years, and this was by far the worst. Crispy skin barramundi was soggy. Beer battered barramundi overcooked. Creamy garlic prawns were tasteless. Minimal garlic. Added pepper but didn’t help. Sad, always was good before Service: 4 Location: 5
